tbourner
Are there actually ANY real work from home jobs that aren't scams? The most recent emails are about data entry, saying it's once in a lifetime and there's deadlines to sign up and limited places etc. Search google again and there's loads of 'scam' headlines. But then, even when you start reading the reports on how much of a scam they are, there's a link at the bottom to sign up to the only one that they found to work!! Oh yeah, right! Found this site: http://www.homewebworkers.co.uk/ From here: http://www.real-work-at-home.co.uk/FreelanceJobs/DataEntryWorkatHome/tabid/99/Default.aspx Now these look and sound quite legitimate, there's no tags on the websites where someone's obviously getting dosh for me to sign up, but they still ask for £25 for a 'training pack', promising you get it back after your first job!! Can I actually trust anyone nowadays? Surely there must be real jobs out there on the net for people to do at home?

colsoop
I work from home, and have done for the last 2 years. I like the flexibility it gives me. I can take a day off as i see fit and then make it up on the weekend etc. It can be hard to get motivated sometimes especially when it is baking hot in the workshop (35 degrees) but once i am out there i am fine. tDR
I'm based from home and tend to do not a lot on days I'm not booked out. For example, last week I was in Bradford involved in a data centre move for Morrisons supermarket from Sunday night 'til Thursday morning when I drove home. I've then had nothing on that Friday and again today. So it's swings and roundabouts really, give up the odd bit of my personal time and in return get more days off per week. And last week was a busy week, a couple of weeks before that I did the square root of nothing other than some online training stuff as all customer contacts that could sign off work seemed to be on holiday. It's a bit like being a permanently employed contractor but most of the contracts are short term - a few days here, a few days there or maybe a project kick off meeting somewhere. Other than that there's the odd bit of spec work documentation wise before starting a project but that never takes long and my work tends to be mostly hands on. Cheers, Brian. tbourner
I'm looking for something part time really, preferably with limited experience required, doesn't need to be highly paid either.
Havard
I know what you mean Trev! I think the golden rule is to work form whilst employed by a company as staff! The other type of work from home where you are sending and mailing envelopes and all that shit are all scams IMO!! I know a few people who have done this sort of stuff and have felt ripped off at the end of it! Get a reps job! Free car, laptop, credit card etc. Work from home and stay on here all day....... H. tbourner
I also want to keep my full time job I have, I only want part time work if possible. I've looked at doing weekend jobs but I don't want to (can't) do anything customer facing!
Supragal
I used to love working form home, I was more productive. Get up 15 mins before start, shower, cup or tea, start work. No commute, saves 2 hours a day. Loved it.
