cheekymonkey
My BIO EGG has come off!
cheekymonkey
It was in the fuel tank - the wire had becomed wrapped around the fuel pump sender and caused my gauge to stop working. SO let this be a lesson - don't go drifting with a BIO EGG in your Fuel Tank!!

cheekymonkey
what on earth is it? That's exactly what I thought when I pulled the damn thing out of my tank. It seems to be full of little pellets! I can only imagine it's some sort of snake-oil fuel cleanser/treatment that they sell in Japan like those magnets that you clip to your fuel line... sod knows! The car seems to run perfectly well without it though!

mikeyb10supra
I think its an alien egg that needs petrol to be preserved and grow and finally hatch Check your fuel tanks guys, its only a matter of time before these critters hatch and take over the world:blink:

cheekymonkey
Translated here... http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g53/xile_2005/egg.jpg Wow that looks like an amazing device, and to think I didn't tell my insurance company about it! Will see if it's removal adversely affects my times at Rotorstock...
Konrad
Found one in Jola's Supra today, when I was trying to sort out fuel gauge Plastic cover around fuel pump is proper b**ch to take off and put on back again
cheekymonkey
Haha! I still have mine hanging up in the garage. Yeah, the cover is a pain. Make sure you check it after a few miles as well, mine had a small leak and had to tighten it up a bit.
