Shirking tea making duties

It's shocking, today I've only had one cup of tea, and I had to make that myself. I'm gasping here.

I have three members of staff but two of them are off today, the third is about to get a lot more work to do. I'm going to have to have words. :D

Lack of communication. Or maybe it's your management style, they hate you and therefore unlikely to make you a drink. ;)

I'll go and put my cup on his desk, that should do the trick. I'm a great boss I let em do what they want for the most part :D

Yes please.

I now have one, but by the time you get up here to bring me that one I'll be ready for another.

Not sure if it will be warm by the time I get up there!! Plus I may have scalded my thighs bringing it up the M62.

Sort of related - had a cup of coffee at my sister's the other day - was very nice too. Turns out it was from the thermos flask she'd made about 5 hours before. Maybe you could put his cuppa in one of those.

One of the places I work at sometimes are very particular about their tea making. The boss made one young work experience leave when he said he didn't want to make her a cup.

It's ingenuity like that that would really fit into this team, you're hired!

Tea, white, one.

I hate that!!! Constantly arguing with the lads in the office about who's turn it was to make a brew. We've even got a spreadsheet that we use to monitor the colour of the people's brews against the dulux colour chart (anyone who makes anything lighter than a "nigerian sands 3" get's their ass whooped)

Just make a shite cup of tea. You'll never get asked again ;)

Yes you bloody would, as you obviously need more practice at it! :)

Ok. 80k a year, company car and relocation package and I'm yours. It may sound like I'm pulling your pants down, but think about how nice it would be to never have to worry about your tea needs again!

Loving the dulux chart idea too - although I quite like milky tea so probably wouldn't get on too well with it. Probably more a Soft Caramel colour of Stained Magnolia.

I very rarely, genuinely laugh out loud. Well done! That's ace.:D

I make one or two a day for my team. And actually I make a very good cuppa. But being the boss means that I have staff that make it as well and we all take turns.

It's usually at home that I forget I'm making the tea when the voice from (she who wears the trousers and the bank cards) the other room goes " That tea's taking a bloody long time" and I look at my watch and realise 20mins has passed by since the kettle boiled. :D
