What bumper?

I love the stock bumper mate, but will be buying a splitter for it very soon. It already has the active spoiler, but the front just doesnt come down deep enough and it needs it with the oem or any skirts.

If mine wasnt black id get a carbon one, but it just wont look right :(

Search for Mike B and look at his garage mate. Stunning car and a lovely STILLEN front bumper too - in black.

Best car on the forum IMHO.

EDIT: Here we go: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=hall&u=2000

They have great ground clearance and a wider mouth for an FMIC if you have one. Plus, they're not as common as Do-Lucks and Stocks nor as ugly as the Bomex :)

Top Secret is another good choice. As is Paul Whiffins front.

I think the Stillen is one of the best looking fronts for a Supra and there aren't a ridiculous amount of Supras with the Stillen front yet. I love my Top Secret front but it appears that this is now the flavour of the month and loads of people are going for the Top secret. So for me its between the Stillen and Top Secret ;)

I love the top secret bumper (that’s why I have one) but Iv already destroyed it once and repaired :( its very low and hits everything so the next time I manage to brake it (hope its not soon) I think I may get a stillen as its not a fibre-glass bumper and will take bumps and scrapes a lot better, it looks nice as well, kind of subtly aggressive if you know what I mean.

I want to change my front bumper but can't have anything too low, I love the stillen:

And the do-luck, but where I work has an underground carpark, and with the active spoiler down it scrapes like a very scrapy thing... How do the bumpers discussed suffer with things like that?...

The Stillen is very flexible polyurethane plastic, so simply shrugs any scrapes off with no problems at all :) It also allows you to retain the stock crash bar and foam insert :) Oh, and uses all the stock mounting points :D

Good to know, cheers :) - Another most likely stupid question to throw into the mix... How do these fare with the active spoiler... I know it won't poke out as much, that is obvious, but does it even get room to move? should one just give up on that and get the normal undertray? Do they even attach to the undertray?...

 im not sure about the amount of flex required to get down a incline such found in car parks!!! plus you paint aint gona flex to suit!! thats gona be sracthed right off!

the active spoiler would have t be removed, its part of the stock bumper

Ah, I always thought the active spoiler was part of the undertray, as I bought an undertray with the active spoiler on...

cheers for the replies, i have considered a stillen, i like that it is subtle improvement instead of the standard. Where is a decent place to get one? replica/real? dont wonna spend too much money's, but i dont want something with a bad fit

I got mine from Bijal. They're not cheap at about £500, but they come with a Stillen fitment guarantee. Mine had a few minor probs, but never bothered with the guarantee - not sure how much use it is this side of the pond! Not seen any replicas about though.
