Ewen
Could it be ? Will Prodrives bid for Aston beat the Egyptian ? Will Dave Richards bung an Aston engine in a F1 chassis ? The thought brings a warm glow to my groin...Anyone else remotely interested ?
The Restorer
Prodrive is a company that makes me proud to be british. If they were to own Aston Martin that woudl be brilliant. Not just for their F1 cars but also fo the AM road cars. Saying that the DBR9 is stunning as well and this would be a way for them to also get into LeMans awith their own car. Angarak
I heard on the radio yesterday that ProDrive (and a mix of other financial backers) have successfully purchased Aston Martin.

Pot
Anyone else remotely interested ? Yep, as a lover of F1, and a lover of Astons, and one tiny step away from marshalling/stewarding at this years GP I am!... (Sadly not a dude with a flag, but foot in the door and all that...) Alex
I think it's true, and tbh with prodrive's know how and recent exposure to current AM's (for tweaking) I can see it being a good home for AM. The marketing potential for AM if F1 is there too... Have to wonder if ProDrive are biting off more than they can chew though, new F1 team, new car company... SUPRASUZUKI
I'm all for anything that makes FI interesting. Most of the time it's boring as old bollocks. They trot out the same line at every race "overtaking is really difficiult here". Then you get ITV sticking adverts on just at the wrong time! You do get the odd good race I'll admit.
