Nothing from other manufacturers that's similar in that it comes in a neat din sized package?

Can you give me a price for the unit above and is it only green or amber backlighting? Also, do you get the related senders and a sandwich plate adapter for easy fitment of oil temp and pressure senders?

Cheers,

Brian.

No nothing similar that I know of. Defi do the Link Display that is small enough to fit in the DIN slot, this can display all readings, some of the sensors need to be purchase separately.

Available with white/green, black/green or black/red display see pics here.

The DIN Gauge includes the sensors and harnesses. It does not include a sandwich plate.

Yep but oil temp will mean drilling a hole in your oil sump to mount that sensor and oil pressure means taking a T off the stock oil pressure switch... such T's are notorious for fracturing and pissing your oil everywhere. Hence a sandwich plate adapter (mounts between the block and stock oil filter and has a take off for each sensor) is a neat and hassle free way of taking care of both. I wonder if the GReddy sandwich plate would work with Defi sensors?

Nic, is it possible just to buy and run the D-Link Display, Control Unit II and sensors without the need for gauges everywhere? I'm guessing the display once configured will alert in some way if any entered parameter is exceeded, drawing your attention to it? If so, what sort of cost is involved in such a setup?

Cheers,

Brian.

Yes it should do.

Yes you can run the Link Display without the gauges.

Yes there is an LED warning light that will show if the set levels are exceeded.
