Guest gzaerojon
OK Jon, but surely can't you spray the UK insides and they'll look like that anyway, or by adding the inside of a facelift are you cleverly removing the crap sidelights which wouldn't be the case if you just sprayed the UKs? Does that mean I'd need to supply the UK lenses and J-spec Facelift insides? you can spray the insides of the uk's to look like them, but they will still have the sidelights and only 2 chrome rings. but to do them this way would make them very close to facelifts. i'm afraid you would need to supply uk's and facelifts, also part of the payment is to keep any remains as spares. Sheefa
OK, question.........can you get CLEAR inside (not black) facelift lights then that don't have the sidelights without modifying?

imi
I'm all for lighter and the newer designed facelift ones. If in 6-10 years (if I still have the car) the lights go yellow, then i'll change them again Glass ones are nice and heavy not to mention they bulge out....... Yes you'll need a pair of 9006/HB4 bulbs for the dipped beam on the UK headlights

Sheefa
No. I wouldn't be concerned about their weight. It's probably minimal and who cars anyway! It's not going to impact your 0-60 time! The ONLY thing I'm concerned of and nobody seems to have helped answer is the contrast of Facelfit lights with the black backing with a BLACK Supra ????? I'm a little worried that this will look dull. Thanks for clarifying Jon. The ideal would be to have UK Spec glass headlights with Chrome inserts from a Facelift lense that have been sprayed. Get working!
