M4RK RZ Posted January 17, 2007 Author Share Posted January 17, 2007 Hi mate, Well it is something I can offer in the future but to be honest it does not lend itself well to the stainless steel thickness I have used - but there are reasons for my choice in thickness. A few points I have been thinking about: A clock face with SUPRA etched in - if you have seen one they are very thick (this is what you suffer for engraving) and no matching surface finish!! It will look very odd against other accessories as it appears mat. I went to alot of trouble finding the perfect stainless finish and rejected many samples! The thickness of the material will make a clock face with SUPRA engraved sit VERY proud of the dash surface (looking crap basicaly), where as mine will sit flush IN the pannel, when I design something I realy think about it first ... Im currently looking for a solution other than engraving - I think I have one ......but need to invest in equipment first and run samples.
