The button and lights for it in the dash don't light up and definitely don't activate anything. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thorin Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 So the light doesn't come on when you go over 60MPH? If not you sure the switch isn't pushed in (i.e. set to off)? If that still doesn't work try going over 100MPH on a private test track (), as if it's a dodgy speedo conversion it might not activate until then. NUTKIN Posted December 17, 2006 Share Posted December 17, 2006 This is going along the same line i have an active spoiler an when i go over 60 ish the light flashes an the red triangle comes up on the dash. Every one says the triangle is the brake fliud but iv found out its for this spoiler prob as well. When i turn two clicks an press the button it makes a noise like its trying to deploy but it dont come down any ideas what i can do. JohnnyW Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 If the ecu is there and connected up but a spoiler isn't attached then the green light on the switch will constantly flash. The fact that you're getting no light at all means that ist's probably either missing the ecu or the ecu isn't wired up properly. Can you confirm that the active spoiler is definitly on the car, if it is check that the motor is connect up. There is a connector that sits next to the drivers side headlight. If all that is OK then you'll need to take the dash off and see if the active spoiler ECU is there and is wired up correctly and is getting power to it. supraGZaerotop Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 mine is currently not working, it did up until a short while ago, the fellow who had the car before me said that it had not worked since he had a new radio fitted ,i know the spoiler ecu is behind there so me thinks some one maybe cut something or blown a fuse maybe, i havint looked at it as yet , this thread is very old i know there turns out to be nothing wrong with my active spoiler after all, the fellow i bought the car off said it stopped working, but what i noticed is that ive got to make sure that the alarm/immobilzer is switched off with keys turned all the way without starting , i push spoiler down and it comes down no prob so i assume it work perfectly on the road. did think my cruise was not working also but works perfect, just didint know how to work it at first, happy now, everything on car works as it should.
