rpslaughter1982
I've recently purchased a PHR street turbo kit and I'm in the process of getting all the parts to complete the install. I want to replace the injectors (jap spec). I'm just about to purchase some SARD side feed 650cc injectors but thought I would run it passed the experienced members for approval first! Will the SARD injectors be OK and does anyone have any opinions on them. I'm also thinking of getting the ENVY double decat pipes, any opinions on these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Homer
Can't tell you much about the Sard's though I was warned they're a budget make so possibly not 'the best' available. Make sure you get them flow tested prior to being installed though (same applies to any injectors). You do not need a double decat with a single kit. Your PHR kit should contain a downpipe which replaces the 1st cat pipe on the stock car. You should only need a 2nd cat replacement pipe, Any will do so long as they are 3inch diameter and made of stainless steel.
rpslaughter1982
thanks for the reply, how do I get them flow tested and how much will it cost?
Homer
Approach someone like Terry S who can arrange the testing for you. There's places you can go to direct but I don't know any. I think it normally costs around £120 to have a proper test done on all 6 injectors.
rpslaughter1982
I've ordered the injectors now so fingers crossed they're ok. I'll speak to Terry S when they arrive. Thanks again.
Kranz
Rich, there's a place I can get them done for you in Shoreham. Failing that Automarine Diesel can do that in Hove. Give me a shout or email at work. Oh, and what fuel controller are you going for??? Emanage ??
rpslaughter1982
Cheers I'll give you a buzz when I get them. I'm not decided what ecu device to go for. I'm looking on the e-manage ultimate favourably at the moment, any thoughts?

JustGav
I think either engine coolant or gearbox cooler pipes, hard to tell from the picture to be honest.
rpslaughter1982
Is this one any clearer? It's at the back of the block
JustGav
Ah yes, that is a lot clearer... Those I believe are pipes which are used with the VSVs and assorted boost pipes, the hard pipes should go round the back of the block to a pressure tank. rpslaughter1982
Great thanks for your help. Now another question! What do I do with them?!!? I've read various members turbo build threads but can't find any info on them
JustGav
Nothing is the easiest answer, take the rubber pipes off and just leave them or carefully fold them closer to the block..
