Homer Posted May 30, 2004 Share Posted May 30, 2004 Just got the RSR on my TT and it sounds bloody great! Personally I think the RSR is a better sound than the Nur Spec or Hiper. I've got a couple of videos (7mb or more each), Paul C is working on hosting one of them but if anyone want it on short notice send me an email and I'll attach it on reply. Homer Posted May 30, 2004 Share Posted May 30, 2004 It's pretty loud, but not unpleasantly so; it really depends on what RPM you keep it at. Below 3.5k its a very 'burbly' TVR like sound, between 3.5k and 4k there can be a fair bit of drone/vibration, and above 4k a lovely straight-six roar. I did an 80 mile motorway run today (mostly 80 to 120 leptons) and it wasn't too bad at all, but if you were doing long journeys every day you'd probably want to use the baffle! The RSR certainly doesn't seem to drone as much as the NUR, but I suspect it does do it more than some other after market exhausts. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
