Is a Single worth it?

That graph is really selling me on the single conversion..

Not totally sure whether to go for the Street Kit or Stage 1.. Street seems to do everything I want, plus easy to put a CAT back in for MOT etc. which by the looks of it will be difficult with the Stage 1 system..

Don't see myself upgrading too much in the future, apart from a full fuel system. I won't ever want to have more lag than that, and for the style of driving I do (A&B roads mainly) any more power would be useless and wasted.. I'm not really in to dragging the car, and would possibly want to play on trackdays..

Yeh, I'm very suprised! I expected to see a lot less power and torque from the single around the point that the first turbo on a BPU is spooling and spooled.. So similar low down though!

Thats mostly because so many people concentrate on peak HP rather than torque and mid range power (which makes a car quick in real road conditions). Peak power means nothing to me and most of the "small" single owners, it's all about spool and torque :) Most of the usable power is gained in the mapping and fueling setup so thats where the money should be spent.

Is single turbo still expensive as before? there are so many no-brand kit here and there.

I have had my car for almost 2 years and from stock to BPU. It still give me big grin when I drive it but I can feel that the car is limiting me in open straight where when I first bought the car it is me who will bottle out first..
