Just read this whole thread. Glad I went out last night! Sounds like everyone is friends again tho. I'm in THE foulest mood (picture Nikki off of BB) so am having a couple now to calm down, anyone fancy a drop of cheap wine to keep the happiness going?

Been in a similar position myself. Careful, I've ended up with a degenerative problem I'll have for the rest of my life. And you end up upsetting people!

Stay off the spirits!

OH how I wish I had heeded that advice on more than one occasion ;)

tell me about it ,

years ago i bumped into my ex in a club, and she was dancing with me,. having a drink with me etc

we had only broke up a few weeks earlier so all the feelings were there.,

then i got drunk..........

walking home with her i got all emotional....

all sobbing..." i still wuv you " etc

she actualy flagged down a passing friend in a car and jumped in to escape me.,

im bad when im drunk. :(

she never got in touch with me again..

Without sounding patronising....LEARN from it...you don't wanna be 'that guy'

If I have adopted a "sanctimonious attitude" then maybe it's because I feel I'm constantly battling against people

Not being funny bud, but if you feel that unhappy & peeved off about - about the trench-warfare that comes with the "mod" role ... then why not simply step down ?

I think you'll agree that the "mod" role - contains :

a) trench warfare,

b) the moany PMs,

c) trivial & petty arguements.

All those negative things come with the terrority and are bundled & packaged with all the positive things.

You must've known about the pro's & cons -prior- to agreeing to be a mod. Like everything in life, you take the rough with the smooth .. and if you're not keen on the rough .. then do something about it - to make life more pleasant.
