AJI
hasn't dropped very much.... its still over 90p/l for super unleaded. It will only be a matter of time before the next 'reason' the oil companies use to hike up the price again.... such as Joe Bloggs in his Nissan Micra might leave his air-con on in his car whilst driving, leading to him needing more than normal usage of fuel causing a demand increase for petrol. JohnA
I'll wait to see what country, that coincidentally has a high oil output, that Bush picks on next regarding nuclear weapons and the threat of war blah blah blah.... oil reserves have NOTHING to do with them attacking and sitting troops to protect democracy. The fact that these are countries rich in mineral reserves is purely coincidential. ...plus we don't know where the WMDs are, they still haven't found them, have they? Those terrorists did a very good job in hidding them. So they have to keep looking, we should be grateful that we can sleep safe now.

JohnA
The fact that the secret services can recruit moronic fanatics keen to take the blame doesn't help, either. Anyway, such games have been going on since ancient times, they are not new. They fall under the banner: Grab your neighbour's land/resources/wealth under Divine/Altruistic/Humanitarian pretences. The Golden Rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules.

RedM
Don't forget to check out http://www.petrolprices.com for prices in your area. I found out I could save 2p a litre on Optimax by driving past my workplace and filling up at a Shell garage a mile further on, rather then filling up at my usual haunt. RedM
I have no idea. Erm... go from the White Rose, pass the Wheatsheaf with it on your left, under the bridge and it's on the right. Is that it?
