Class One
Tut tut, you shouldn't repair Y or Z rated tyres. I mean think about it, glue in a rubber bung that's a totally different typre of rubber to the tyre with different expansion rates on a 160mph+ supercar? Go figure. D3xt3r
Never repair tires on a performance car! You can do that on a little shopping trolly or something but not something that can go that fast.
TT-DEK
Especially if its near the sidewall!!!

RedM
Mytyres are really good and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying locally.
michael
I've had good prices from these chaps: Tyres & Exhausts Morley Britannia Rd Leeds West Yorkshire LS27 0AR 0113 238 1325 http://www.gordonstyres.co.uk - are pretty cheap too but I haven't used them. RedM
Gordons tyres are funny. If you compare that rubbish website to their latest outlet it's a world of difference.
Scooter
Its suggest here that even the police use this form of in situ tyre sealer/repairer

Class One
Its suggest here that even the police use this form of in situ tyre sealer/repairer Perhaps, but they're only rated to 130mph (v) rated tyres. Not much cop for a Z rated tyre over 160mph (despite the endorsement by Dunlop gmbh to 156mph) All I'm saying is, to use a repair on a Z rated tyre is a definate no no. RobSheffield
you will have noted from my original post that i pointed out on my original post that im not happy running on it, i rarely ever breach 100 leptons anyway, even on good tyres, and the repaired one i dont think has seen over 70 as im just driving the mile to work and back at the moment

Kranz
FYI Quick Farce will repair punctures for free. I am running the Nankangs on a repaired rear tyre thanks to a screw through it. I never go above 95 leptons as I like my licence intact. When I get the Goodyear GSD3's all round then I may invest some time in track days, but with the Nankangs it just aint worth it
