lust2luv
Crap, was gonna ask if you could run with passengers and exactly what timing figures would be available? 1/4 ET, 1/4 speed, 60 foot, reaction, etc? Anyone seen a post on another forum answering these?

I thought it was 1.7 miles in total with 1/2 mile braking distance, giving a run length of about 1.2???

From the standuing start you will go through the trap 1.7miles later and then 0.5miles to make sure brakes work or its grass cutting time:eek: Regards SV

V
Matt, I thought that was normal. The start line has been in the same place each time from what i can remember, & it has been the same distance each year. Then later on they open up the entire runway for a longer run. When he stated the run lenght i assumed it was the car run, not the o/a runway length. What ever it is, it willl still fun - the longer the better. Justin, Yeah, i dont think there is a run of on the left hand side either - not that i was really looking though. it has been mentioned but not confirmed, that the top speed run will be single runs, with the 1/4 mile for dual runs only. Justin
Wicked. looking forward to running again. NOT lokking forward to blowing my engine though
Guest Richie
Sorry guys blowing of engines will not be tolerated at this event. Just to clear up the runway lenght thing, the V-max will be measured after 1.7miles then leaving you 1/2 mile to brake. This should be 1/4mile but I have made allowances for the MKIV's...... Hi guys/girls the DVD which is being produced showing every car at the event will be available shortly after the day. You can pay for your copy on the day and it will be sent out to you as soon as it has been produced. Cost is £13 inc P&P. Cheers Richie
