Mike
Kinda makes the daily shit go away for 10mins how nice it that..!? I get this with my sisters kids.. they drive her up the wall, but sometimes I just look at them and it all makes sense... three little angels when I'm around (when they're not painting the walls with chocolate).. but lots of work day-to-day, I really admire her for running 'that' show... kinda fun being an Uncle and 'just visiting'... am looking forward to the whole kids thing though... I just re-read the first post... god it's really sad in that pigeon English... wonder i he's coming back..? Also Pete - that post was excellent... very well summed up... kinda deep in here... definitely a contender for 'nicest thread of the year'.. so getting old, having kids, long relationships... we're all feeling a bit reflective around here lately.. right, anyone going single then!? Charlotte
So judging by your post Pete, its seems no one is actually in 'love' anymore these days. Hmmm thats sad.
Bob
When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day . . . For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away. That's not entirely what I was trying to say. Bobs quote is about what I was trying to say.

Bob
Talk about rubbing it in the poor guys face Judging by the guy's english (if he does indeed exist) I'd say the potential to offend is rather slim
