By the time I'll own one...some day The tails look like an Honda S2k...but will there be no hardtop version? Only the CC? So the aerotop is dead? toyotasuprauk
I like that too! But I doubt it will ever be released.
RedM
I love it. The missus loves it. The colour rocks and the power seems on the money. One question though. Has it got NOS?

Gazboy
Yep couldn't find that but the U stands for Japanese emissions unit si we might not see it hope so though Er, will it pass an ESVA? I can't believe Toyota won't sell the hi-po car to us, the Germans and the USA- it'll kick M3/M4 butt!
Lucifer
Yep I do love that car. Mkvstore.com coming soon!
dangerous brain
Only one problem I can forsee for you lot. The value of Mk4's will upturn for a month or so on facelifts when press highlights the car type but will then go freefall downwards worse than it has so far. I myself would not be in a rush to see a MK5 supra at all.
Gazboy
I was thinking this too. If the facelifts go down, they'll put more pressure on the original mkiv's to go even cheaper...
Gazboy
Bondango(?) I've just put the pictures up on Pistonheads- if this isn't ok I'll rehost them.
bondango
I was thinking this too. If the facelifts go down, they'll put more pressure on the original mkiv's to go even cheaper... Then people was just buy mk3's because they are far more superior

toyotasuprauk
I wouldn’t worry about values they are depressing enough already. This car will probably never be released, if it is it probably won’t be in the UK. Even then it will probably be 2009 when mkiv's will be worth about £1500 anyway and the market will be totally different.
Mike
still like the mkIV better... not very 'ballsy' is it...?

I myself would not be in a rush to see a MK5 supra at all. Good point and I can only hope that the new Skyline cause the price of the old ones to fall. However, is there any real chance of seeing this 'new' mkV in Europe? Looking at Toyota right now, I'd say no. They've binned the MR2 and Celica due to the new emissions rulings so I can't see that they'll decide to let us have the new Supra unless it conforms to the new rules and therefore, might be a bit of a dog. lockys96
hell yeh, when is it coming out, and will it be japan only? thats going to be expensive, but wheres the turbo's
Ulrik
Where do i sign up ? Looks Sweet... The question is, will the MKIV drop in price or keep its nice price.... So should we all sell our cars or keep em a little longer Group Buy !!
lockys96
i dont think it can go any lower. Bang for your buck, nothing compares. prices might rise, (that will be the day)

Gazboy
Toyota have seriously lost the plot as of late- losts of motorsport, but no sports cars...
supratoy
That is pretty cool, I like it! Only thing I'am worried is, almost evertime a newer version of a car comes out the old one starts to look dated. Do you think this will happen with the mkiv? Snooze
Noooo! For me the rear seat (/shelf!) was a deal maker. Looks like I'll be back to waiting for the 2007 Lotus Esprit then!
