Links to Supra alternator rectifiers

I ended up using a really chunky rectifier plate with a straight arm from an alternator rebuild kit intended for a 1UZ , chopped it and joined it to a suitably thick cable inside the alternator, lots of soldering and heatshrink and then brought it out the alternator housing via a chunky grommet. I then soldered a chunky ring connector to the end of that and joined it to the stock connector with a nut and bolt, with the join housed in a small insulating plastic box.

Was a bit of work, but needed the car back up and running quickly and had everything to hand and didn't want to wait for a rectifier to come from the states. Was only meant to be a stop gap until I could find a plate with the crooked arm, but like most of these things, its been in ever since and still working. Have some photos somewhere, if I come across them will post.
