Advice needed for seats

Hi guys, been a member since 2016 but i have only just managed to get my hands on my first supra!

I hope these questions can go here.

1. So i purchased the black jspec aerotop n/a auto off the forum on wednesday, me and fellow member shawn went to take a look at it and unfortunately there is a few issues with it.... seats.... they are aftermarket bride (replica’s i believe). They are ridiculously hard and uncomfy and they also sit you up to high in the car. Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice set of replacements?

2.once i have been driving for 20/30miles the roof bolts seem to become loose? Is this just a case of replacing the bolts?.

3. I really like the ridox kit on these, im potentially looking at the “grams” kit, however i have heard mixed stories on there fitment? Any advice would be awesome.

Re the bolts , yes. Replace them. There is a thread in the forum that shows you how.

Welcome to the club. Lovely car!

There's also a specific order in which Toyota recommend you do up the roof bolts which, presumably, reduces rattling- check under the centre console lid and there's a diagram in to show the order (there is on mine anyway!) If you can't find it I'll check on mine for you.

As regards seats, I have Recaro Speeds on Bride rails which sit you nice and low in the car.

Recardo Speeds look incredible in a Supra. Very well suited. Leather is the nicest visually, due to the black OEM styling in the Supra's interior.

There are other types of stylish seats around of course, I really like the mercerdes AMG type with metal belt bolts, but of course most of these seats only look the part once totally re-trimmed to suit the Supra's style or matching. The last photo is Ibrar's old Bomb setup. Which did look awesome, just a choice of investment in that.

We have had a few bits from grams and they are ok, nothing fibreglass is perfect if your getting a half decent bodyshop to fit it you should be fine, ridox is the nicest kit on the supra :) I just had the front bumper but mate had the whole kit( was 5 years ago not from grams) image
