Rear engine heater hose removal

The one coming vertically from the rear of the head?

I have some long reach flexible ratchet hose clamp pliers, don't use them often but can really come in handy in certain spots like that hose. Once the clamp is off the hose can be twisted off no bother I found.

Just seen a youtube video on them. Never seen one before and they look great for a tenner. Just ordered one of US Pro

Whip the cam covers off, seriously, it makes it much easier!

Granted you've got the ball ache of having to remove the coil packs and replacing the gaskets, but it makes the job a breeze

Ah, either way, I reckon it'll make your life much easier.

I swore at mine for ages before admitting defeat and removing the cam covers. It was easy after that

I did my cam cover gaskets recently. Not going there again :D
