Im not sure if I'm ready to part with this but Ive found myself writing this thread...

I bought this Supra off Matt back in March as a daily and with the intension of going Single turbo. Its my fourth and by far the best example yet. Ive come to realise that driving a Supra daily again is not really for me, especially one this nice. I don't like parking it places and Im not 21 like when I had my last Daily supra, now I crave a little more comfort and something I can just drive without thinking too much :taped:

Secondly spending the money to go single is not high on my priority list at the minute and I can't see it being there in the future too soon either. Its hard as I know this will be my last Supra.

Its a great example of a Supra and hasn't put a foot wrong being driven daily or after a stretch of me not using it while I've been away.

Here are some preliminary photos of how it sits today on my drive, a little dusty from being parked while i was on holiday last week. I will take some better ones when I get time to give the car a proper wash.

Bellow is a copy of Matts for sale post as its not changed at all since. The suspension Knock Matt mentions I believe I have fixed by placing some padding under the scissor jack in the boot as it was against the boot floor.

It is with great sadness I must advertise my Supra for sale.

I have owned this car for nearly seven years and it has been a lot of fun! I’ve made friends, seen parts of the world and learnt many things that I wouldn’t have without the car. It will be a great shame to see it go.

This has been a much loved car but now it must move on to fund bigger and better things!

Spec as follows...

Basics

Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo, 6 speed, with BPU modifications

First Registered October 1996

Mileage approximately 54,000

Odometer reads 65,726 (may increase slightly before sale)

However this was converted from km/h to mph upon import at 30,045km (as close as I can establish)

30,045 km = 18,669 miles (at point of import)

65,726 – 30,045 = 35,681 miles (since import)

18,669 + 35,681 = 54,350 (true total mileage)

MOT until 10th January 2018

Service History

I have the full service history of the car back to the point of import. I also have some Japanese documents I cannot understand, although I believe these are manuals and brochures rather than history. During my ownership, the car has always been serviced by SRD who, as we all know, are well versed in the art of looking after Supras! It was last serviced in February 2017.

I am extremely proud of the way the car looks. It turns heads everywhere I drive it and it puts a smile on my face when I drive past shiny shop windows!

Bad Bits

There are a few bits I’m less happy with, which I should mention now...

Suspension knocks from rear. It has done this since I bought the car and continues despite having replaced the coilovers. It has not deteriorated.

Air conditioning leaks from somewhere. It’s external so it doesn’t leak into the car, but it doesn’t stay cold very long. I started to investigate this but haven’t got very far with it. I will include a spare air conditioning radiator (see ‘Extras’, below).

Engine bay could do with a tidy up. I started this, but it needs finishing. My eventual plan was a single turbo build.

Dashboard has a couple of holes in it where something clearly used to be attached. You can’t see them when you’re sat in the driver’s seat. I will include a spare dashboard (see ‘Extras’, below).

All of these things I intended to sort at some point, as well as continued general improvements to the car. Unfortunately I no longer have the time or the funds to do this so it’s time for someone else to have a go!

Extras

I’ve collected some extra bits over the years so I’ll throw them in with the sale...

Air conditioning radiator – I got from SRD. Cannot guarantee its condition but appears pretty good.

Dashboard – I bought from Keron years ago to replace my holey one.

Catalytic converters – Both front and rear included in sale. Car has always passed MOTs with rear (easiest to fit) fitted.

Location and Price

Car is located in Crawley, near Gatwick. You are of course welcome to view the car and I will gladly take you for a drive in it.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This looks stunning. I bet the colour in the sun looks glorious. Great spec too and excellent price for a very low mileage 6 speed. Cannot see this hanging around by the end of the week! Tempted to sell mine and get this ! :)

Good luck with the sale mate although luck really isn't needed.
