Hey there all, English bloke living in Switzerland, had a chance to work on my first Supra..

its an 1995 twin turbo auto and has extremely bad wiring ( somebody messt with it!)

its an jap import which came to the UK and then imported to Switzerland so the cluster was convertet to mph and then back to kmh by sticking an 320kmh panel over it :(

guy who bought the car had no idea! even the engine warning light has been messt with!

So up to me to get everything back to normal and need to find out how the speed cluster has been altert because it is not giving a signal!

Has a black box between Blue/Red wire coming from Speed sensor 1 and cluster.. so think ill get rid of that first?

Cheers

Tom from Switzerland

Where abouts in Switzerland are you based? I make the trip over with my supra twice a year and another member is out there trying to get his imported to swizterland. And yeah if you disconnect the black box and reconnect the wires back to their original pairs then the speedo will read in KPH again.

Otherwise, I'd check on the gearbox that the speed sensor clip has not been disconnected.
