brassbones
My new MK4 came with a clifford alarm system (quite nice, with remote engine start), but has some mysterious buttons on the dash. Anyone got a clue what they might do?
Dim Sum
That is your manual override buttons. Just in case your remote dont work, those buttons will disarm your alarm. Providing you know your code for the alarm

Al Massey
It will be in your instruction manual. Can also be used for anti hijack and valet mode.
Dim Sum
How do you enter a code with those buttons? That's copied and paste from the manual. 1. Turn the ignition on. 2. Enter PIN code (the factory setting is written on the back of this manual). Your pin code has 4 digits. To enter a digit, you press and release the button of the plainview 2 switch the number of times of the digit to be entered, followed by pressing the unmarked button. To enter a zero, you simple press and release the unmarked button. http://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/og/clifford/G919730P_01-07.pdf Page
