RobSheffield
im far from 'expert' status, but on a Supra, 'cheap' 'ebay' and 'Turbo' arent words you want to be hearing you always get what you pay for now saying that, some members on here have the ebay/ssautochrome/XSpower kit fitted, and it isnt bad (GregSupra4 for example - nice guy, decent turbo kit) - but there are slightly better (and more expensive) turbos out there you pays your money... GeordieSteve
I want to see how more of these turbos do. I know another member going down the SS Autochrome route. Gotta be worth a look for £500 for a full kit delivered
Alex
Hmmmm....is it an SS Autochrome job or not. It certainly looks nice...and it includes a v-band on the turbine exhaust which is a first for them if it is them. You'd need to buy/make an intake, down pipe, screamer pipe...get the oil line fittings etc...but for £800 you wouldn't expect a "full" kit. GeordieSteve
I sorted out a deal with SS yesterday for a full kit for £500 delivered. This was turbo, wastegate, manifold, downpipe, screamer pipe and induction pipe

gregsupra4
Hi All, Well here we go again this reply is for information only and is only my personal opinion. A little while ago I bought one of these kits off ebay and was delighted that I had got myself a bargain and was really impressed with the bling, BUT the first thing I noticed was the impeller blades on the intake side were not even, at first I thought this was to balance the turbo but I took it to a good friend who has around 10 years worth experience of playing with turbos and he took the unit apart WOW what a shock I got in a nutshell the unit was in his words "A handgranade waiting to go off" He set the spindle up on some sort of unit he had in his workshop and with just our eyes alone you could see the thing was not straight. All in all I sent the whole kit back and to date I have still not had a refund and both ebay and pay pal have been no use what so ever. So it may have been my bad luck and I just got a one off dodgy kit but the fact that they do not respond to my emails tells me BEWARE. Yes we have now latched on to SSAUTOCHROME and have done a good deal with them to supply us with kits to the spec we requested plus on the one instance where we were sent a bad unit they replaced it 3 days later without cost. OK there we are not much help to you but thought I would share my experience.

Scrote
LMAO, good find I hate finding that the cheap stuff is crap, I like getting a good bargain but have to choose carefully. The branded parts (name any jap company) IMO are overpriced, surely good quality can come at a reasonable price, until it does a single is off limits for me. samsupra37
Hi guys, My two pennies worth...... SSAutochrome they are GREAT turbo is a flier and everything looks brill... Had no problems with fitting went on sweet as a nut, been running really well on stock ECU, stock injectors. Been running at 1.2bar now done around 3500 miles and still going strong, we have stripped the turbo to check it and there are no marks, no problems put it all back together and its still running great. So now as the kits are doing well I have put together a deal with them to supply TURBO FIT UK LTD with the kits for the supras and skylines. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 9th well at least in my rear view mirror..........
