What I would say is that the metals/paint/underseal/galvanising(?) on them from the factory has done a really really good job compared to nearly all cars of a similar age and better than many newer cars.

 

The rusty ones will have had extreme conditions, neglect or early accident damage to get really bad.

Just bumping this as i recently came across a Supra home to russia with massive rust issues, with alot of Supes being in the UK for a while now i wonder how many are like this inside? quite sad that cars rust :(

 

On the outside, youd never know
