I did read up about the indicator swap so might just give that a go as the facelift Lights do freshen it up

Just make sure you buy the rear facelift lights including the bulbs and wiring loom then they are a straight swap. The headlights you just need the housing as the bulbs are a straight swap. These are the part numbers you'll need for the full conversion:

81111-1B231 UNIT ASSY, HEADLAMP, RH

81151-1B231 UNIT ASSY, HEADLAMP, LH

81550-14700 LAMP ASSY, REAR COMBINATION, RH

81560-14700 LAMP ASSY, REAR COMBINATION, LH

Fitment guide for the facelift indicators http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?31633-How-To-Fit-facelift-front-indicators

81740-14170 LAMP ASSY, SIDE TURN SIGNAL, LH

81730-14180 LAMP ASSY, SIDE TURN SIGNAL, RH

You'll need to buy an extra wiring loom for LH indicator because on the facelift the bulb holders plug directly into the main wiring loom (see pics below). The bulb holder tabs on the extra RH wiring loom will need slightly modifying to fit, very easy to do (you'll see what I mean when you try to fit them in the LH side indicators).

I had a look at the brake kits on offer on the whifbitz site and the ksport kits were about the same as the UK spec calipers. Is on better than the other or is it just a case of oem vs aftermarket?

The K Sport brakes will be a fair bit lighter and shinier. There are comparisons of different brake setups including the K-sport compared to the larger Supra brakes here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?225007-Big-Brake-Kits-Real-Numbers
