RichTrdAlsop
Hi all, I'm Rich, 24 from Great Yarmouth (just down the road from kirky_123) Went out in the "black duck" yesterday, what a machine that is! Anyway, I've not yet got a supra, but the plan is to buy a uk manual N/A in the next 4 months, and stick TT6 gear in it. Hopefully meet some of you at shows etc That's all for now, Rich

Dnk
Welcome Rich Afraid there's no such thing as UK NA, all UK cars were twin turbo with either an autobox or 6 speed manual

gordy.r
Welcome to the club! You'd be cheaper just buying a TT than trying to convert a N/A in my opinion, it was something I looked at a few years ago and decided against. But good luck whichever route you take! RichTrdAlsop
Ah ok thanks guys. The reason for wanting an NA isn't the cost, it's wanting something in the garage I can work on for a couple of years. It's going to be a slow project, and I'm quite handy with a toolkit so looking forward to the challenge.

Unless you buy the best mkiv out there thats been loved to death then chances are you'll be working on it whether you want to or not Bare in mind i think a lot of NA's don't have ABS and its not really cost effective to retro fit it, for me that's going backwards as far as a road cars concerned. RichTrdAlsop
Ok thanks DNK. That's given me something else to think about! I'm also quite impatient, so the idea of having a supra sooner rather than later appealed to me.
