Saying that 'back in the day' it was all about connecting wires together, ISO connectors weren't as readily available.

 

I used to go down the scrappy and cut a load out at a time. Sadly, few cars use iso plugs as standard now, they tend to be quadlock or unique. :(

That's how I'm a genius at it now.

My xr2i, VW Jetta, escort and mk2 golf was butchered together to fit my stereos lol
