JK90
going to buy some new wheels for the car and wanting to know if this fitment will work or if I will have problems. Front: 18x9.5, 5x114, et 38 (with 3mm shim making et35) or et30 with 245/40/18 tyres Rear: 18x10, 5x114, et 35 with 265/35/18 or 275/35/18 tyres will the front and rear arches need to be rolled? what geometry, what camber to run? WaLKeRR
I have rears in 17x10 et35 running a 265, and i dont run any camber but im unsure about an 18" id assume it was how low your car is aswell if not lows you should get away with it, im going to 18's soon also with same width and offset
Nic
The rears should fit flush with the arches, you'll probably not need to roll the arches but it'll be close. I wouldn't use spacers on the front, 9.5 +38 wheels will sit 3mm further out compared to the rears and the arches may need rolling, if you put spacers on they'd definitely need the arches rolling. black_widow87
I have exactly the same fitment on my rears and they do catch slightly on my arch. (un-rolled) i run a 265/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza on stock suspension.

Al Massey
I can roll your rear arches for you since you're not too far from me. Got my own kit and was trained by arch enemy. Did suprasteveo's arches and worked a treat
WaLKeRR
Would if scuff if he put a 265/35/18 instead of a 40?
Luxluc
Quick questions : how many mm can you add through arch rolling?
Al Massey
Quick questions : how many mm can you add through arch rolling? Depends on what you are after and the car Rolling will move the lip under the arch so that's a few mm there Also when rolling a slight flare can take place, some more mm. But if doing a good flare, where it is visible will give even more mm clearance. So possibly 10-15 mm

JK90
Will I have any problems on the fronts?
Nic
Will I have any problems on the fronts? Based on the widths and offsets the fronts will fit but the arches will need rolling a little so the tyres don't rub, you don't need the spacers. Which brakes do you have fitted? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?249089-Supra-Brake-setups&highlight=Brakes if you have the larger 4pot front calipers you'll need to make sure the wheels clear them, post up pics of the wheels if not sure. JK90
i just have the standard jap brakes on will that offset have the fronts flush with the arches? Edited January 12, 2014 by JK90 (see edit history)
Nic
will that offset have the fronts flush with the arches? Yes the front and rears will be flush with the arches, the fronts will be a few mm closer to the arches compared to the rears which is why the front arches will definitely need rolling so the tyres don't rub. The rears will be close so may also need rolling.
