Swampy442
Because the gearbox can be running and cold as well as hot? You should always check the fluid level with the engine running.

David P
Four years of membership/ownership and even hobbyist-ship yet never checked the transmission fluid level. When the time comes; in the classified ad please remember to state that you couldn't be bothered to look after it.

David P
That's a helpful post and was it really required ? Sad but true and inexcusable, a future prospective Club Member owner would think so. peter richards
, it was something I just thought id check whilst looking at my other levels my mechanic normally services and maintains my car . and if I ever sell it it will probably be one of the best stock supes to go , ive had it 12 years and has a full service history . so your comment doesn't really say a great deal I think ive been here a bit longer than 4 years my dear boy Edited September 13, 2013 by peter richards (see edit history)
David P
talk about shooting ones mouth off , it was something I just thought id check whilst looking at my other levels my mechanic normally services and maintains my car . and if I ever sell it it will probably be one of the best stock supes to go , ive had it 12 years and has a full service history . so your comment doesn't really say a great deal I think ive been here a bit longer than 4 years my dear boy Your virtual garage was "Created: 03-07-09", which clarifies the '4 years' element. Maybe I'm odd, but to be a Club member and Supra owner for 12 years yet not know how to check a dipstick, I perceive as odd. Old Fart is more fashionable.
