Well it finally happened.... at 417hp and a direct increase of power from only a single turbo the pressure was going to find a weak spot at some point.

The good old girl done we well!

Now the question is, which bit failed?

A loud bang, followed by the noise of crushing material grinding and no car movement. 2nd gear clutch pulls. Usually don't get any grip. Sadly this time I did.

I put the box into reverse, and with another clunk, the car moved again. Could also creep in first and second. Any ideas on the cause?

It's at the garage today for a few niggles anyway, so getting them to have a look at the cause. Suggestions so far as snapped gear linkage, possible slip on the diff teeth.

8 weeks on the road, NOW OFF THE ROAD AGAIN :( Just got it looking and driving how I wanted!

If there was a bang, where did it come from James? Did it sound like it was towards the rear? If the bang came from the box, I would expect it would be rather rather obvious, as you're sat right next to it.
