Active front spoiler and front mount IC. Will they fit?

Got a car here that the owner would like an OE active spoiler fitting to. It has a big FMIC on it, and it looks as if an active spoiler will NOT fit. What's the score with them and FMIC's please? Thanks.

The motor for the active spoiler will foul on the FMIC.

If you detach the motor you can lock the Active Spoiler in the down position.

Alternatively you can do a search for Chris Wilson, an his brilliant SMIC which allows you to keep the cooling and the motor

LOL, I couldn't possibly comment. This FMIC has a third of it inactive, as with most if not all on stock bumpered cars, as it is far bigger than the bumper aperture and no ducting could fit in the space. He may settle for it locked down as a snow plough Thanks for the replies, I thought there was a potential issue!

Having it down all the time is not ideal. I have the switch that raises mine and I have to use it quite regularly.

 

There are some members that have theirs down all the time but with UK speedbumps I have no idea how they manage.
