Next time your at the car mate give us a shout and I'll pop up is it n/a or tt?

It's n/a mate, the reason I bought the n/a was because I'd only had my licence 5 year with 4 no claims, so naturally assumed insurance would bend me over and dry fist me. Then everyone on here tells me there wouldn't be much difference :(

But main reason was.... It was only £1600

I just wanted to strip it and make it my own.

Then once I have some pennies put aside, I could always go n/a-t I guess?!

Once I get it back it'll need mot, I DO know it needs a caliper.... Luckily I was kindly given a full set, with grooved discs and yellow stuff pads.... For free from Matt Wilson who sold me the C west skirts.

I can't find a decent priced set for caliper repair kit so spoke to a company in Notts who offered me one caliper overhaul for £27

Once mot is done, I'm shaving doors so need to find someone to respray my shell for me.

The guy who has my car wants £3500 to spray the whole car the same colour it is, to change the colour.... He wants £4000.....

So I told him to just spray the body kit and fit it and leave it at that

  • 3 months later...

Well.... Not the finish I expected after months of constantly being messed around but it's half way there.... Going to go elsewhere and have shell done, then put new rims on....

Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm more than happy with the 3 choices of kit that's on it.

Also to smooth in rear bumper and skirts, and have door handles removed imageimage

Haha thanks..... That rear is actually a veilside, one of not many made. I think I read around 100 or 150 made.

I'm almost happy as I say few more bits to do, plus my deep dish rims

I took pics quickly on my phone, camera playing up and misting up :(
