Replacing front tyres - new thoughts

OK - so the Vreds seem to top the list. Is anybody running the new FK453s, just out of interest?

How does yours ride on the 20s??

 

Better than you'd imagine. I think it's better than on my 18's mate. 225/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 on the rear and even on T1R's it was skittish. It handles nicely, and still steps out if provoked. Is like it's on rails and it's no more crashy, even lowered 40mm

 

Literally had the arches rolled and that's it. No spacers, nothing. Although you could probably space the fronts out by 5mm to avoid scrubbage on the arch liners

My arches would need rolling then! I'd be curious to see what mine looked like with your wheels on though!
