How can I improve my low idle?

You needa good garage to put the oscilloscope on the control pins of IACV and see if the ecu is sending a suitable control signal to them. Check it moves fully when removed and ignition is turned off then on. Clean it. Go from there. Without proper diagnostic gear you are wasting your time, you need to be able to see the control signals, or lack of.

Ok changing the spark plugs did nothing I am still having the same issues with starting. Basically car runs no different with the new plugs.

It will crank and fire up but right away on a cold engine... but the the RPM will drop and it'll die right after that.

I have to attempt starting it usually around 3 times before it holds an idle.

It will bounce back and forth between 600-700 and car will roughly shake.

Once it warms up for a couple minutes it seems to run perfectly fine.

What coud be the next thing I should have checked?

It has brand new plugs and clean idle control valve.

As I said, you need to look to see if the idle control valve is getting a proper control signal from the ECU. I strikes me it's not "parking" properly.

My mechanic has IACV almost new condition, we will throw it in and the next day start the car up and see if that did it..
