paul21uk Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 hey guys any ideas of getting that yellow tint out of plastic headlights i got one pre facelift one which is mint and the other not so is it just elbow grease and time or is there a certain polish you use?? d-_-b Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Usually polishing the outside removed most the "yellowing / mistyness" that can occur on the outside of the lenses, however sometimes it can also occur on the inside of the lens - in this case its a split the headlight job and polish the inside as well as the outside. Most the pairs of headlights ive seen self serviced by members on here have had very good results. Time and patience is key! Rushing it usually leaves them looking not as good as they could look, and you certainly dont want that if you have to go the second route and split the light Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
