Arch rolling - advice needed from those with rolled stock arches

Ok so im currently in the process of rolling the arches but a question. What sort of angle should i be setting the rolling wheel at? Unfortunately i have started off on the worst arch out of the lot, has some very slight surface rust on the inner lip but apart from that no paint cracking as yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Also i seem to be getting a very slight flare on the arch, is this normal or should i just change the angle of the roller wheel?

Sorry for the hundred questions :)

Thanks for the offer but i think i have got the hang of it now. It just takes ages :)

Im probably being overly cautious but i think its best that way. Plus the arch i have started on has slight rust in the lip so being gentle with it.

If i get stuck i will give you a call. If you could pm me your number that would be great :D

How'd you get on?

Kinda ok...i didn't fully roll either arch partly because i ran out of time and partly because i was a little nervous about damaging the paint. On the first arch it already had some surface rust on some but i didn't crack any paint on the rest of the arch. Then on the second arch i was taking my time and then i think i just got carried away, did one roll to many and the paint cracked on both sides of a chip that was already there :(

The cracks are only really tiny though and i filled the cracks with touch up paint but at that point i thought it was best to stop as it was getting late anyway.

Im going to try the rears later on i think and see how they go.

Call me later and I'll give you some advice, I'll even take some pics of the angles the roller should be if you want mate
