What about the Lexus GS300 Sport, didn't that have a 2JZ-GTE as well?

 

This is a stock Lexus is300 gs300 rx300 engine looks like a 2jze to me?

First one is non turbo, bottom one is twin turbo. If you want a 1jz speak to littlenum or Konrad, they can talk you through it

sorry to bump an old thread, someone i know has a 2.5 soarer maunal with a blown gearbox i may buy the whole car for the engine and put in mine

its an r reg? so this would have the vvti ? is this a good engine to use would you say?

From 1996 the 2.5 1JZGTE went VVTI..... and went from twin turbo to a slightly larger single turbo.

R reg means naff all, registration errors could mean its a 91 car registered in that year. Best thing is to see the engine itself. Yes it's a very fine engine.
