johnny g
I do like that with the gold wheel, polished lip. Looks very purposeful.
sideexitsupra
Doesn't do it for me, sorry. Silver, black or gunmetal in my opinion. Though I have some Rota Grid Drifts in white coming. Will see how they look and then maybe get them painted.
The Raven
Silver and black
benkei
Silver, IMO, is a really hard colour to get wheels for, that's what puts me off a silver Supe. Sometimes gold or bronze can give the car too much 'metallic' going on (if that makes sense), and I haven't seen very many examples I thought looked good, expecially with a polished lip. HOWEVER, having said that, this actually looks pretty damn good!! So it can work, just with the right styling and wheel combination. ripped_fear
Thanks for the comments shame I don't actually own the wheels lol Depending on wheel style I would say 9 times out of ten I would go for silver with a polished lip.
sideexitsupra
If you go to Rotas web site you can upload a side image of your car and play with their wheel designs to see what it looks like. It allows you to adjust the size of wheels to make it look right. Will try to find a link. Here you go, actually on rare rims website http://www.rarerims.co.uk/virtual/ Edited February 20, 2012 by sideexitsupra (see edit history)
Supra Kong
I'd also have to say Silver, Gunmetal or black!!! I find Gold looks very dated now!
