Good luck with your hobbyist, i waited 2 months for a response, then to be told it was needing a trader membership and a 150 fee and no promises of any returns. If your planning on offering a service, people send the parts and you'll return them CF wrapped, then it will be a trader and yet MORE waiting for 75 Yes's.....

The admins create themselves work with all these rules rules rules, they have lifes and quite frankly i had to nag the hell out of Homer to get an answer either way.

its a carbon weave fabric i get from the usa

Its very time consuming. I have done some and did a test on the inners of the lights. I used 3M di-noc self adhesive. What contact glue do you use Dave and how will this cope in the summer when the car gets hot?

Great work BTW :)

So it's actual carbon?

I guess I would be fine to laquer it for the usual carbon finish then?

no mate DO NOT PUT ANY LAQUER ON IT its a fabric carbon weave not real carbon fibre if it was reaql carbon it would be a damn sight more expensive

dave can you get the carbon sheets **real stuff** which can be clear coated??

you have to make a mold of what you want to create and then lay it in the mold like fibre glass and it is really expensive process

or you can do it with the sticky back stuff which is glossy but imo looks chav
