Infiniti is fly by wire jamie, Q45 is from Z32 and Centra, IE earlier models, you wouldn't be able to use the later ones unless you add all the electronics and stepper motors. Chris Wilson Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 Do you need, or even want a bigger throttle plate area though? Two cheap boost gauges plumbed just before and just after the throttle plate on a stock set up will easiliy show if there's a meaningful pressure drop across it and it could do with being bigger. Needlessly increasing throttle plate area can give a trigger like low throttle opening response, and the the top third of the throttle travel doing little if anything at all.
