Chris Wilson Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 Ever noticed how much rear tyre noise there is with MKIV's? It would be umpteen times worse if they took more compliance out. The designer will have done a trade off between wheel control and NVH. Plus bushes are very robust, if properly made. Ever notice how many MOT fails there are on rear top arm inner "bush" wear? Even when sealed against the elements, unless the bearings are aerospace quality, they don't last like good rubber bushes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
