Looks like this and can go any colour you like!! Got the complete set off ebay, 10m, including remote control etc for about £60 or £70 quid delivered from hong kong. Link would be great dude, I can use 240 or 12v as I have an inverter, we thaught of the rope lights as they can be cut to length and are transformed to 12v, I don't know if they will work straight off a car battery.
