Light around door lock

Mine does too, but it's green. I had a blue dash conversion done, and would like to have that changed to blue too, but don't really know how to get into it.

Take the door card off and look at the inner side of the door handle, its in there. IIRC a guy on here called heckler has a site with a 'how-to' on doing this.

Yeah, I know really, but I daren't take my door card off again, unless absolutely necessary, as the material around the screws holding it in place isn't as strong as it was. ;)

Get you now:) I didn't relish taking mine off either, especially after it came to light what a replacement from toyota costs.

as far as I am aware, the only way to do it is to change the lock barrel - as thats what I did the the passenger lock on my car

Can the actual lock be taken out so that the same key can be used or is it new keys all round?

Cheers

Can these be retro fitted? Quite fancy one.

The barrel assembly can be disassembled and as such this might be possible. I would need to see one of the illuminated barrels out of the door to confirm this though.

Keron might have one?

yup, can dismantle the lock completly, as in take out the innards and put it into another one - like I did - done it quite a few times on other cars too :innocent:

Thats a confession and a half. Just popping out to the Police station.....I mean shops :eyebrows:
