adi2009
Hi, What sort of power should a stock J-spec TT manual put down on the rear wheel. I need to know this because i have done a NA-TT swap and not sure if the engine is running at optimum performance. Also would it make a difference on RWHP whether i am running the W58 (5spd) or a V160 (6spd) Cheers adi
Homer
It really depends on the condition of the engine and whether you have an auto or manual transimission. I've seen anything from 230 to 295 rwhp for stock Jap TT's on the same rolling road on the same day. In my experience a good condition stock manual TT should see at minimum 260rwhp, though some put down a lot more. The max I've seen is 341 fly wheel hp on a totally stock jap car. Bobbeh
295 rwhp for a stock car? No - thats nearly 360 bhp! 260 ish should be about right.

Bobbeh
Indeed, i'd seriously question the validity of this rolling road... OR the car wasnt stock as thought.
Homer
It was at Surrey rolling road, the place so many people quoted as being too conservative with the hp figures. The stock car that got 341 fw bhp belongs to max21 and its virtually stock (aside from the HKS superdragger and ssqv dump valve), maybe the cat-back made the difference but its still pretty good for an undecatted car. Homer
On second thoughts a replacement cat-back isn't stock! my bad

Yup...mine pushed 331bhp on the fly WITHOUT the DECAT on the very same day (serious overfuelling though) 2 weeks ago - it was pushing 378bhp - (still overfuelling a bit, and mis-firing thx to dodgy coilpack connectors) TODAY IT FEELS JUST RIGHT....need to put it on the rollers once again...
