Give the car to me for two months plus £10k

I'll do bugger all to it, but when you collect it after driving a box on wheels for two months it will feel so much quicker and you will be happy.

Plus you will save £5k ......what a bonus!..lol

Dave :blahblah:

No theres someone in The Milton Keynes area that will undercut you on that..

(oh shut up Si)

would you not get a corvette c5 think the petrol costs would be bad. but they do look and sound good. what about a r34?

Took a couple of C5's for a test drive 4 years ago and it handled like a shopping trolley, it was just awkward from a driving point of view..so gave up on the Corvette..untill they bought out the C6 (but dont think I can afford it)

R34...errrmmm yeah not me really, its todays answer to the Escort Cossie (i'll upset a few saying that I know) but the Escort Cosworth was the Dogs testicals in its day...but driven by fat Chavs with small willies and nagging unsatisfied girlfriends.

Nobody drops their jaw (or draws) when they see a R34 like they do with a nice lookin Supra!

I do like the R34 especially the V...but want something that has the look and feel of a traditional supercar for peanuts he he.

But worth considering as viable options.

Cheers

Si

If speed is really your thing, you are not goin to do better than a single turbo Supra Si.

But if your content with the speed of your car now (C6 would be quite similar I imagine), and are just bored of it, get the vette. They are great looking cars, great reviews etc, certainly not a bad choice, and saying that is hard after Supra ownership!

Why not keep the Supra as-is for another 12-18 months and see what goes on with Vette prices? Just because it is at 80k, don't mean it is about to fall apart!

Single!! Although you know Chevy now has UK dealerships dont you, maybe they can source you a Vette at a decent price! :)

True but as they have only officially been launched recently in Europe..The Euro cars are selling for £44k new and havent seen any advertised secondhand not even U.S. sourced models (infact the U.S. models are fetching £40k over here)

As Syed says guess just have to wait till the prices drop...yep i been sat in Supras now for at least 7 years...do fancy a bit of a change..but there isn't anything for the money that can replace it, and even not much with plenty of money that can replace it either..

You do know BL sell C5 turbo kits ;)

Whos BL? Terry......British Leyland.

na its not just the performance Terry..its the handling, the way its designed etc..on the outside it actually looks a much nicer car than the C6, but they have put so much thought into the C6 and it can go round corners as well he he..

I havent test driven one yet but i will anyhow he he...I mean its well good value for a car that will more than match the performance of a 360 Modena (costing £115k) and needs less servicing/maintenance...just a steady supply of brake pads and tyres no doubt..

I'll keep dreaming

There you go...sorry about the Teddy Bear :limp: but he needed a holiday too he he.

This was near Spanish Border In September South West France..I'll try find some others...with my new red calipers.

:thanks:

Stunning. Shows exactly why Supras are IMHO the best looking car ever. Thanks.

Awww thanks mate

:thanku:

More compliments please he he.

Yep well ya dont have to spend a lot on the body to make it nice. the sideskirts were on it when I bought it, stock colour, alloys make a huge difference (well the right ones do) tints really make a difference, and give it a kind of stealth look, and a subtle bit of colour coordination with the use of minimal graphics and now red calipers (which def makes it go faster he he)

I'm not a great fan of body kits..I did like the original Veilside when i first saw one...but that was years ago and I think they look dated now...

The supra is a powerful mean looking machine as it stands...its so easy to overcook the look...bit like Jodie...most would rather see her in skimpy panties! (or naked lol)

;)
