dani_r
Number 1 is what you need mate. I've had plenty of experience with these things! If you're having issues with your MC, make sure you change the whole unit. Much easier!
swich
I'm getting a clicking when i press down, guessing its the spring.

Homer
well it's number one so far. I'm ordering from the States so any info will be handy. Why? They are cheap as chips from Toyota here in the UK Do you want the part number?
swich
yes please. From the states £
dani_r
yes please. From the states £37 Just make sure you get genuine Toyota. You can't penny-pinch with that kinda thing! Also, there's no spring in the MC unit, only on the pedals. Have you been in the footwell and had a good poke (albeit upside-down) around?
swich
Theres a spring in the service kit. And yeah, back breaker with all the noises as ever trying to get back out from under there.
Homer
yes please. From the states £37 I was quoted less than that here in the UK direct from Toyota (£32 ish) Part number (for the 6spd): 31410-24050

It's No1, no question. i should know i fitted mine not long ago but i thought the facelift MC was different to the pre facelift i.e the pre facelift being a side feed for the hardline and the facelift is rear feed or is that the difference between 5 speed and 6 speed MC's?? Homer
Was this some sort of deal? Toyota just gave me a price of over £100 No, it was just the local garage and they are usually expensive compared to most on here. Well worth giving Paul Whiffin a call, his parts prices on Toyota stuff have some of the best I've seen since Nic stopped trading.
