I am currently considering either the Compaq 110c or the Dell 10v or 11v anyone have any experience of either of the above, or recommendations of an alternative? Alex Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Asus Eee PC's are the best all rounders IMO. Multi touch track pads, 8.5hrs of battery on the 11" version, attractive design. MSI Hybrid (U150?) are even better for battery life as they use an SSD for the OS and that takes very little power to run. However - look for netbooks sporting PineTrail Intel CPU's (new version of the Atom). They are the latest gen kit and will last even longer. It seems a good all rounder the only downside I would say is that if you want to use it for hours upon end you can't as its battery life is about 3-4 hours! Mike Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 My missus has a Macbook and she swears by it.. it boots in no time.. really quick for Internet and iTunes.. it has a build in web cam so she can Skype me.. what more do you need. The-Plethora Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 I have a HP 2133 Cant fault it, I have had it for about a year os so now and I think there is a better model out now but the build quality is amazing, keyboard is really easy to type on and best of all the screen resolution is 1280*768 which is better than a lot out there.
