Thought of setting up a facebook group?

I don't have an account on Facebook, do you think this would be something those people could help with?

I can't be bothered to start a new thread so here's a bonus - Balboni in a Balboni...

If someone could crush the moon (with a huge nut cracker, maybe), and let it stream out around the earth, then maybe, just maybe, that could be possible, and very awesome too. :)

It would completely mess up our climate, but at least it would take people's mind off our meddlings for a moment!

Wouldn't we also be catapulted into the sun, or off into space?

I was going to ask what would happen to the earth if the moon was to disappear, or become some pretty rings around us instead.

It was just a romantic notion to think that it could happen in that way, but I don't know of anyone that has a nut cracker that big, though. :)

Nasa do a good enough job of putting crap up there on there own :D

One of James Mays programmes recently was about sattelites, and apparently there are over 900 satellites in orbit currently. The scientist said that eventually the earth will appear to have rings due to all the debris from them.
